4 Weeks Away .... & Counting

Man where the time has gone and been. I must say tring to stay updated on this is hard when school and work take all my life away. But - Yes 4 weeks and I will be on a plane to Minn July 21 to visit and vacation (long over due). I'm going camping w/ Matt and some others (hope they show up)!!. I'm glad he came up with that plan, it will be a blast.

Oh a school note : going great 2 school @ the sametime - getting dozens of degrees are hard, but hey the payout will be GREAT! :) I'm going on my 3rd year w/ the Preschool. We started out summer program only 10 kids every day .. down from the 20 we have during the school year. I like the small class size but sometimes its very long days. We have splash days so we can get the kids wet and ourselfs.

Well looks like its back to work I go... more to come.

Wow .... time does fly!

Ok - folks I know its been about 1/2 a year since I updated this blog. I'm sooooooo sorry well a lot has happend since then. I'm going 2 yrs back @ the church working in the preschool just loving it. Get paid to play and teach what a job! I'm still teaching Religious classes going on my 11 yrs I'm getting up there in age ...lol.

This year I've been production a Christmas play at the church which will perform on Dec. 16th, @ 6pm for anyone that would like to see it. I must say the children are doing a great job learning the songs and movements for each act. Yea to go :) ....

Also, this Thanksgiving my cuz Adam which is in the Marines came for the weekend that was the best holiday yet. Being that the last time we saw each other was when I was 9 and him and his twin brother was 13 ... ok that sucks for not seeing him, but u must know his on the ships all the time.

Ok - me and the ships I still do some classes and training for it ... I have until 2010 to resign. I love the weather down here getting cooler by the day. School well I'm on the ending of the degrees. The education board likes to change the courses for use and driving us nuts. lol

God Gives Free Gift ....

"God gives us a free gift... life forever in Christ Jessu our Lord" ~ Romans 6:23

One of the hardest things to do is to be saved by grace. There's something in us that reacts to God's free gifts. We have some weird compulsion to create laws, systems, and regulations that will make us "worthy" of our gift.Why do we do that?

The only reason I can figure is pride. To accept grace means to accept its necessity, and most folks don't like to do that. To accept grace also means that I realize his despair, and most people aren't too ken on doing that either.

Well it's time for a update

Well I know I've been very bad at not updating this blog and been only updating the personal site. I have to say that doing school online is hard, but has it's perks I learn more reading and doing more research then sitting in a classroom. It's easier for me to work and do my school work when I want to has long all is in by due dates.

People in this town and I'm counting those snowbirds are, so mean and rude. Man I wish they would go home and leave us along because the know how to get under ur sick. The run you over on the road, they don't have any manners and think they are royal people.

My life is going great working alot at the preschool and getting ready for another season when Kokomo's open next weekend. Been training new security guards and rehiring the old ones back. It looks like it's going to be a GREAT season. I'm read a few books that I've been wantin to read, glad I did.
